A Coffeecolours
painting is a celebration of Fairtrade
and the positive impact it has on lives and communities
in the Third World. This website is a collection
of paintings by artists in Eastbourne, East sussex
and beyond, painting exclusively with Fairtrade coffee.
 Many hands worked to
create the final artwork, not only those of the artist
but others including the farmers planting the seeds,
tending the crop and picking the coffee. The
finished painting is a collaboration between
the producer and the consumerPainting in the subtle light and the rich dark browns of coffeecolours brings to life the inherent beauty of Fairtrade.
